Farewell to Mellanie Plewa

Ms, Plewa joined the JEWTACT project in October 2021.

During her year in BGU, she attended classes as part of her master's degree in Jewish history.

Her project contributions consisted of writing her master's thesis on early modern Jewish translations of catechisms.

She also worked on the JEWTACT database.

In her search for translations, she focused particularly on missionary writings, Christian school literature in Hebrew, and Hebraistic literature.

On behalf of the entire JEWTACT project, we wish Mellanie lots of success in her continued research throughout her academic journey.
